PECS® Communication Book – Large, Small or Mini

A durable, portable communication book designed to organise and carry pictures used with the Picture Exchange Communication System® (PECS®).

PECS Communication Books are made from thick, durable poly plastic and are designed for everyday use at home, school, work and in the community. The extended back cover keeps the Sentence Strip™ accessible while the learner moves through the pages of their book.

Large – 23.5 × 20 cm

A great choice for new PECS users and learners building a larger vocabulary. The larger pages provide plenty of room for organising communication pictures.

Small – 18.5 × 12 cm

A compact option particularly suited to learners using 2.5 cm pictures or those with a smaller vocabulary of larger pictures.

Mini – 12.5 × 9.5 cm

Our most portable PECS Communication Book. Small enough to carry easily in a bag, backpack or pocket, making it ideal for communication on the go.

Choose your fastener

Select hook (rough) or loop (soft) fastener for your book and pages.

We typically recommend hook fastener on the communication book and loop fastener on communication pictures. However, schools, clinics and other organisations may use a different system, so check with your learner’s team if you are unsure which option to order.
